Baby Shower

A girlfriend in my ward offered to throw me a baby shower. Super sweet of her since nobody else was offering. I did have a shower with Grayson but he's a boy so this was a whole new experience. We had a great time visiting with friends and some family and opening girl clothes! That was weird! haha I haven't bought any girl clothes...just a few things from gifts of the heart. We got lots of adorable outfits and bows and such for our little Payton. We will need to buy lots more onesies and a few more newborn things but it was great over all. Kate did a fantastic job with decorating and putting together food. I couldn't have asked for a better shower. Thank You Kate and Meagan for putting it together for me! Drink table. The straw's are green stripes so they match the chevron baggies...and of course I wanted a purple and soft green theme. Turned out great!

Cute basket from Jennie (mother in law) and Dori (Grandma in law) Jennie loves to make baskets so I'm always collecting her baskets so this time she did a tupperware. Inside the basket are these adorable slippers...funny joke in their family or I guess you could say tradition...they get slippers for everybody for Christmas so she just HAD to get Payton her first pair of slippers.

Jessi (sister in law) Brittany (old time friend from Texas who married my brother's best friend) and Gracie (new friend whose husband played on Chris' intramural team---also the first girl of about 10 girlfriends who is having a GIRL like me! yay!!)

Grandma was smart and got a toy for Grayson. He was being obedient and holding still for the pic while waving at the camera to acknowledge me. haha

My lovely friends that threw the shower for me!! Kate (left) and Meagan (right) I'm gonna miss them when they move away. Sad day!

One of my younger age besties and still bestie Arielle. So glad she came.
