Patriarchal Blessing

This past weekend we had Stake Conference and the Adult Session of conference. I was really surprised when it came to Adult Session...they could just take out the adult part because there were SOOO many kids/babies there! I totally understand babies being there but some families had 3 kids there! hahaha I guess that's what we get for living in baby central where lots of families live away from family and babysitters. They were both great sessions and Gray did well for the Sunday session thank goodness. We didn't have to take him out once...WOOHOO!!

One speaker was our stake patriarch who spoke a little on patriarchal blessings. So of course lately I have been thinking about my blessing. Today I pulled mine out to read it. I really need to be better about reading it more often along with praying and pondering this special blessing. What a neat thing to have in our time...a special blessing from my heavenly father specifically for me! That really is a treat. A sort of guideline with warnings and special blessings if I strive to live faithfully. I am truly grateful for this blessing. What comfort it brings especially in times of need.
