HOORAY!!! We finally decided to buy Gray a forward facing carseat!!! He LOVED it and we loved it.
This other picture is totally random. Just last week I was putting Gray in the shower with me and he was getting really fussy. He Loves the shower so this was a little off for him. I sit down with him and notice he is opening and shutting his hand and kind of screaming at it. I look at it and his finger has a cut on it! He had somehow grabbed adria's razor and cut himself. So chris took him and put two band-aid's on it...he crawls off and bites them both off. haha. so chris then decides...the Eagle Scout that he is...to wrap Gray's hand in an Ace Bandage so he can't take off the band-aids. When that was over i put the ace bandage through the wash just to clean it. We were doing laundry on saturday and chris found it. So of course he starts to think what can I wrap...well he started with Gray's legs and wrapping them together then he goes to trying to wrap his arm to his chest...then finally.....HIS HEAD!!! IT was quite funny and as long as we kept putting his snacks in his mouth he didn't care.
Here we are with Gray at his very first Football Game! He did awesome I couldn't believe it. I think it was so loud and so many things going on around him that he was very content and wanted to watch everybody. What a fun weekend! We went Friday night to watch Adria cheer on the McKinney High school Varsity football team against their Rivals McKinney North. On saturday we had our monthly temple date and very much enjoyed ourselves without Grayson and being together in the temple. Around 1 we headed to the BYU vs. TCU football game. We all knew it wouldn't go down well but we just love football that much. Also my cousin plays for BYU and best friends brother plays so it's more fun to go and watch a losing team when you know somebody. We will always love BYU even when their not as good. Then today (sunday) we went to church and practiced the Primary Program with our primary class. After church and dinner we went to go spend some time with family in Wylie! what a fun afternoon. Eden and BJ along with their 4 kids, and Landon and Adriana were there to visit with us. It's always fun seeing cousins.
So I've been very motivated lately to lose those last few pregnancy pounds! My friend dani is awesome...she has a blog on her weight loss progress. She looks awesome and I just can't believe how she does it. She runs so many marathons and tri-athalons and I swear is super mom!! I sure miss being around her happiness! Anyway so I have been doing some running myself 3 days a week an hour at a time and I am feeling so good about myself. As a new runner I have just been enjoying running on my mom's treadmill in the Bonus room while Gray just plays on the other side of the room. I say other side because I block him off completely and he gets so mad. One time I found him under his pack-n-play trying to get to me on the other side. He was grunting and trying to squish his big body underneath it. haha quite the site. So today I decided to let him take a turn on the treadmill. Here is a quick video...it was quite entertaining and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Sadly I now can't get the video to upload...if anybody has any tips. Otherwise you will have to watch it on Facebook under my videos...sorry. :<
I'm very motivated to work out but very down when I think about how many weeks we still have before we can head to Provo. I don't know why i'm so excited because we will surely miss all of our close friends that we have in good ole' Texas! I'm excited for a small apartment with my hubby and Gray. I'm excited for sunday dinners with cousins and family. I'm excited for Gray to be around his second grandma (JiJI--is what we've decided). I'm happy for Chris to be on his way to Dental School...when I say on his way I mean still in the process of finishing pre-reqs to even apply for dental school. haha But I'm excited for our life together. I feel sometimes that we're just in the rut...living at my parents working and chris taking night classes. We really only see eachother on the weekends. 7 weeks left till provo...technically 8 but I'm not counting Thanksgiving because we're going to Telluride Colorado to stay in the Tower at Lumiere! (look it up)
