So I just realized I never put up pictures from our trip home to Texas back in August. Ryan got home August 18th right around midnight! It was one heck of a night. It also seemed like he had just left for Taiwan but at the same time I remember feeling like he'd been gone forever while he was out. :> We got to take some family pictures which was really fun for all of us.
For halloween Chris was a black eyed pea and I decorated a shirt with a ghost on it because of my big belly. haha. Actually my friend is also pregnant right now and she's due just a few weeks after I am so for halloween she painted a pumpkin on her shirt and I painted a ghost on mine. We got to go trick-or-treating with her and her husband and their little boy Caleb.
November 7th was my baby shower which was absolutely perfect! Thanks to my Nashville girlfriends Amanda Haymore and Mary Davis! I kept asking Chris if my mom was going to be able to make it but he tricked me into thinking she wasn't going to be able to make it. So a few minutes after I walked into my baby shower they walked in after me...they as in my MOM AND SISTER!! It was so exciting yet I cried because i'm pregnant and how could you do that to a pregnant woman!! haha. They stayed for saturday and left sunday night. We got pretty much all of our shopping done for the baby and now have everything we need! It was a great weekend to have them here with us!
Thanksgiving has come and gone and sadly I didn't get any pictures of the great food we made...because we don't have a camera. But we had a great time with our friends the Moffitts who are also from Dallas. We had ham and all the good thanksgiving foods and then played games for hours after! We have now purchased a camera...the baby will be here any day now and we can't miss that!
We will have lots of pictures and fun things to write about when the little guy gets here!! Until then....
