Family Visit!!!

My side of the family came in on Wednesday to visit Chris and I here in Nashville and well so my dad could adjust Chris' braces. hehe. His teeth are looking great! Our family got in Wednesday a little after 10. They drove the big RV so it was a little difficult for them to get around the streets of Tennessee. We got to visit for a while and then Chris and I took everyone down to the pond where all the geese stay. It was fun to feed them with Clark. There was one that was the head honcho and he got really upset when we gave the other geese bread. They had a huge fight. It was kind of sad but funny to watch clark get all excited. We drove around downtown Nashville that afternoon we had dinner/lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. I have never actually been there so it was fun to see guitars of famous artisits and Faith Hill and Dolly Parton's Dresses that they had worn in their concerts. Clark had been begging us all day to take him swimming so finally that night we went swimming at the hotel.
The second day--Thursday-- we shopped around at the Spring Hill Galleria because Adria's Birthday is on sunday. That afternoon we headed over to my dad's cousins house in Franklin. We ate dinner with them and after the kids got to participate with the youth in Temple Baptisms in the Tennessee Temple. My first time there was a neat experience because it's one of the Smaller temples so it's a little bit different but yet still the same. My mom and I just helped with the girls from the ward as they came out of the font and Chris and my dad got to help out with some other stuff. That night we had homemade ice cream, watched the Swan Princess, and played Virus!! SO FUN!!! Even Clark played who is a total crack up. He's getting so big. I can't wait for Ryan to get home to see how much he's grown.
Friday we got to go to the Nashville Zoo which was a fun activity for Clark of course. He didn't even want to leave. They had this huge wooden playground and he didn't want to get off. We spent most of the day there and that night we drove around looking for small houses for Chris and I. We found a perfect little house but Chris had to break the bad news to me telling me it was already under contract with somebody else. So back to searching... We all got Wendy's and headed back to our apartment before they headed back home. We watched X-men 3 and Dad adjusted Chris' braces. We also had Cake for Adria and skyler's birthday. We had a great week and we were defintely sad to see them leave. We are so greatly blessed to have come from great families. We Love them and look forward to them coming back out to see us. Also we look forward to going to Texas to see Ryan when he gets home which will be sometime around AUGUST 20th!!! Happy Day!!
