Update 4 weeks to 7 weeks

Payton is now 7 weeks old but this will be her one month post. haha I just haven't been too interested in blogging now that i've got two kiddos. Things are going well at home and I don't feel too overwhelmed BUT I am busy and keeping up things with two babies is work.

-Payton is now cooing and making lots of cute noises...sometimes she even coos then breathes in really fast sounding like a little giggle. Just loving it.
-She has been holding her head up from day one and everyday she gets better.
-She loves sleeping anywhere and everywhere. She sleeps on her tummy while I watch her she sleeps on her side and on her back. Just whatever makes her comfortable.
-The day we got home she slept from about midnight til 5am!
-Her normal is about 10:30 or 11pm and then I feed her again at about 4 or 5. The great thing is she kind of fusses, I feed her, change her diaper and put her right back in bed and she's out. It has been a completely different experience from Grayson.
-She is an awesome eater. At night she only eats on one side swapping back and forth. Then dyring the day she stays on a 2-3 hour schedule and if she sleeps longer I just pump. MUCH better than Gray. haha
-She's already close to 11lbs if she's not already. And she is very LONG!
-Her eyes are definitely blue.
-Grayson absolutely LOVES her. I love catching him say "shhh payton it's okay" "ohhh Payton I love you" "It's okay payton I'm right here" He loves to run to her and put her binky back in or talk to her.
-When we are in the car I always find him with his hand in her carseat holding her fingers. HE is going to be such a good protective brother. LOVE IT!
-She still has the yellow seedy poop that is yucky when it gets left or she is sleeping and I don't want to wake her up so it dries. Very sad when that happens.
-Pretty much everybody thinks she looks just like Grayson who looks just like chris. My family and Chris family (kind of) think she looks like I did as a baby. There are definitely some things that are Chris...her nose and her top thin long lip. haha
-She has been great and created her own schedule. When she's up for the morning she Eats then will be awake for maybe 15 min then she sleeps for another hour and a half. If we miss the cue she is very upset and emotional about it and we know it's time for her to sleep and she needs a little extra comfort at that time.
-She is totally an emotional little girl and I can tell the difference between her "I'm sad" cry "I'm tired" cry "I'm hungry" cry and her "you hurt my feelings" cry. It's just too adorable. And yet I know we're in for a treat when she's older. : )

This is Grayson and I on 7-11 with our FREE slurpees from 7-11 and Payton bein a daddy's girl snoozing on his shoulder. With her bow of course. : )

I LOVE having a girl. I am constantly painting her toe nails and putting a bow in her hair. She just looks so much more girly when she has those things. But I hope she loves to play sports and be active. She's going to have to be if she wants to keep up with her big brother. I hope he is a good influence and support for her. I definitely feel like we have a real FAMILY now not just an extra buddy for our two some. haha A lot more to plan for when it comes to a family outing. MOre in the diaper bag. But it doesn't bother me as long as I have everything. I love both of my babies. They are so different and yet Payton isn't even quite old enough so we will see as they get older. Personalities will really start to come out.
