* a letter to our daughter...hopefully it's not too cheesy for anybody... but it's from me to my little one*

Dear Baby Girl,

    Just a few more weeks can you believe it?! Well more like 10 more weeks and a few days. I cant begin to explain how excited we are for you to arrive, to hold you and just watch you as you learn and grow and develop into the young woman our Father in heaven wants you to be. We look forward to the newborn spirit that you will bring into our home. Something about a newborn having been most recently on the other side of the veil is very special.
 
   Your big brother Grayson talks about you every day and wants to play with you. He loves to point at your ultrasounds that we have on the fridge...we go over the pictures one by one saying hello and pointing out your feet and hands and nose just like his. He loves to play with you...he pulls up my shirt and rubs my belly and talks to you or he blows raspberries thinking he's playing with you. He loves to kiss mommy's belly and tell you he loves you and wants you to come play. He will be a great big brother. Hopefully he will be as wonderful to you as mommy's brothers have always been to her.
  
   You will be my first daughter! What am I going to do with a girl? Dress you up in cute clothes, and paint your little nails, and put lots of bows in your hair. I will have to show you the goofy lookin bows my mom (cici) put in my hair! I hope we will be best of friends and good shopping buddies. I hope I will figure out how to be close to you and still parent you. That seems to be rough.
  
   Your daddy loves you too and I know he will be wrapped around your little finger. He also loves to rub my belly and talk to you...he also loves to poke at you but you love to poke right back. I think you're going to have some attitude like me  : ) You should know how much your daddy loves mommy and already loves you. He will be wonderful to you just like he is to me. We are blessed to have him in our home. Thanks to mommy and daddy's choices (and continuous good choices) we are sealed together as a family forever. What a blessing knowing we can always be together. We are still young and imperfect and always will be but hopefully we will be able to raise you to be a strong young woman with a solid testimony.
 
  We hope that you will come healthy and strong. We also hope you will be a fighter and strong willed because if not we will have some issues handling your big brother...he is definitely ALL boy. He loves to wrestle and play guns and knock everything over. I hope that you two can be best of friends.
