19 1/2 Weeks!!!

At 17 weeks we went in for an early Gender Check because we felt sad about being with my family and not being able to tell them in person. So in we went....As soon as we saw those special parts Chris said....I KNEW IT!!! haha He has been saying since the beginning that we were having a little GIRL! Sure enough she is definitely a she. We are so thrilled. We have a name that we both love and I've actually had it written in my journal since I was in middle school. (silly I know but it's a fav) We are still deciding on a middle name. Think we have one but aren't 100% yet. We are so excited to be having a little girl.

With our first we definitely knew we wanted a boy to be a big brother and protector over his siblings...Chris is and that's what I had...my oldest brother. With tis second one of course I would have been okay either way...now chris on the other hand definitely wanted a girl and was convinced she was. The All American Family is what our doctor called it...Mom and Dad with a Boy and a Girl. Gray is going to be such a good big brother. I can see it as I watch him with baby MY MY. He just LOVES her to pieces. Obviously he's only 2 and we still have to watch him but he loves to hold her and kiss her on the cheeks and say hello to her.

Today we got to go in and spend some more time on the ultrasound examining her little body measuring her and checking our her heart. She was just so cute. To see her profile and and hands and feet her little toes her belly and facial features. Then towards the end as she finally started opening up to us she would kick at the ultrasound device...Give me some space! Some attitude already. :> We are so excited to have a little girl Chris is definitely going to be wrapped around her little fingers.

I am 19 1/2 weeks and the baby is measuring a few days behind. Here are pics from our ultrasound and some randoms.

Here I am during the break around 18 1/2 weeks!

Here is a shot of her foot and her Arm

And her profile shot.

  2. Yay! How fun to have a little girl! Can't wait to hear her name. Hopefully it's not the same one I've always wanted or we're just going to have girls with the same name...if we ever have a girl :) Congrats!
