It feels so great to have finally let the secret out! We announced to our families early on since we had miscarried before. We wanted to have their support this time if anything did happen instead of going to them and saying "well we were pregnant and then miscarried" So after waiting and waiting to announce it's finally out!
I am 15 weeks this week and feelin good. Last week at my appointment I was for sure I had gained some pounds. haha. Well that morning we were rushed out the door so I was wearing some snug yoga pants and shade shirt...had just emptied my bladder and hadn't eaten anything which of course is the best time to weigh yourself. In the weeks prior I had been weighing around 130 which I was fine with seeing as I was getting farther into my pregnancy. well this time I took off my jacket and shoes and stepped on the scale....127!!!! Can you believe it! I was weighing less and I know it's because like I said I was wearing less and more lightweight clothes I hadn't eaten and had just completely emptied out my bladder. I felt so good! When I got pregnant I was definitely around 125 so I know I've gained a couple pounds but not nearly as many as I was thinking. THAT's GREAT NEWS! With Grayson I gained about 33 pounds which is great so this time I definitely want to be less than that or the same...no more! We will see how that goes. :>
If you have any kind of smart phone and can get apps you should look up the My Fitness Plan App. Our friends introduced us to it and we are LOVING it! Basically we typed in our information...weight birthday and what we would like to weigh. So for myself obviously there is only so much I can do to stay in a weight range that is healthy for being pregnant but I can still watch what I eat and not use the excuse "well I'm pregnant so I can eat what I want!" SO NOT TRUE! What I'm learning is that the baby will get everything it needs...The prenatals we take are for US...not for the baby. Baby will take everything to grow so we need to take care of ourselves but not be OVER the top. So this app basically helps you watch what you eat. So I type in everything I ate for breakfast lunch dinner and any snacks and it tells me what i've had and how many calories I have left. Right now I am just on track to stay the same weight not wanting to lose anything. Obviously again I won't stay the SAME but I want to do my best to watch my figure and stay healthy for the baby. I learned as a pregnant woman for my weight height and age I should be taking in about 1950 Calories everyday...right now I am set at 1830 so I know if I go over I'm not too worried about it since I can have 1950 being pregnant. I don't over do myself and try to do less or more.
ANYWAY.....Here is baby for this week....We find out the gender on the 29th (just after we get back from Texas!!)
I can tell now when I wake up in the morning before I go to the bathroom there is a round thing in my belly. I can lay flat on my back and see a nice round bump not over my whole stomach but just in one spot down low...it's nice and hard and round. CUTE! and exciting...I've just been waiting to feel baby move since at the last appointment we were hearing movement along with the heartbeat on the monitor. Sometimes I think I can but it doesn't happen enough to know for sure. haha

Legs are finally longer than arms...I can tell now when I wake up in the morning before I go to the bathroom there is a round thing in my belly. Congratulations! I haven't been on blogs forever for some reason, so I just barely caught up on your life. You're looking great! Hopefully we can get together at Christmas!
