Eventful Day for Gray

Thursday

2am: Woken up suddenly to Gray screaming his head off!

2:15 : Go in to check on Chris trying to soothe Gray.

2:30: NOT WORKING! There was no soothing this kid he wanted to be awake and playing.

2:45 I give up (chris already did) I lay grayson down he cries for 5 more minutes

3am: Trying desperately to fall back to sleep when ONCE AGAIN Gray screaming

3:15: go back in to calm him again

3:20: almost have him back to sleep when again he wants to play

3:30: I give up again and tell him he has to work it out himself (so sad I know)

3:35: He was back asleep until 8!

8am: Chris wakes up with Grayson things are going well!

10am Gray starts to get really fussy and whine about EVERYTHING!

--Gray has had a runny nose and cough for the last couple days so I knew he wasn't 100%--

10:30: I decide to take the kids outside to get a break and some fresh air.

10:45 we head to the laundry mat with friends and he was quite loudly whining/moaning the WHOLE time. Something was up. Even around his eyes were getting reddish. I just thought he was tired.

11:30 I run into another friend who knew something was up and offered him some medicine (which I didn't have)

11:45 once I finally get the other kids settled Gray is screaming and crying again won't let me hold him or cuddle him but doesn't want to be down. He happily lets me put him in the tub after his medicine.

12:00 Gray is finally relaxing on the couch next to me very quiet and looking sleepy

12:30 GRAY IS RUNNING AROUND MY LIVING ROOM LIKE A CRAZY CHILD! He was immediately feeling better.

1pm after a few laps he had worn himself out and was starting his hacking cough.

1:05 I lay him down for a nap and the other kids home due to Gray being sick and me not wanting to handle other children. I LOVE the parents I work for!

4:40 rolls around and we are in the Drs office waiting to be seen.

5:50 the doctor actually comes in...he was only on call. The doctor checks his ears and he has an infection in his right ear a slight fever and cold. SWEET! my poor child no wonder he's had a rough day and a rough night!
