Holiday Weekend

We had a great busy weekend! It all started when I received a phone call from my sister in law saying that her husband got the internship in D.C. with Ernst and Young!! We are so happy and excited for them. They left today and will return to Rexburg in April. Anyway she also asked me if we could find another babysitter for the wedding so her mom could drive out to Rexburg to help them pack up to move out. Then I was on the hunt for a babysitter.
Landon and Adriana are wonderful and they took over for the morning while we attended the sealing and Jessi's friend Ky watched him during the Dinner. We had a great time seeing family from Texas and being a part of Jordan and Lexi's wedding in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.
It was great to reminisce on mine and Chris' wedding day being in the same temple with the same sealer. What a happy day for everybody. We are on the far left side on the end!
Saturday night before the MISS AMERICA pageant we headed up to cedar hills to spend the rest of the weekend with Chris' Family. We LOVED the pageant and we were so excited when the 17 year old from Nebraska won!Sunday we all went to church together...Dave, Jenni, Chris, me, Grayson, Kyle, Callie, Austin and Alisha! Made dinner, skyped the grandparents in Russia, and played the dance dance game everybody raves about on the wii.
Monday Chris and I left in the morning for Provo for me to babysit Adison. Around 1 we all met up again with Ryan and Jessi for a fun game of Bowling. I LOST of course BUT JESSI won!!! SHE BEAT THE BOYS! WOOT WOOT! We had a great time.
It seems everytime Callie and I get together we have another project! I LOVE IT! Callie received this as a gift and passed it on so Jenni and I wanted to participate. One day when we are in a bigger place I'm going to make a bigger one but for now this is perfect!
That night we all ran to Cafe Rio and rushed back home to watch THE BACHELOR!!! Let me just say Michelle is psycho. My favorites are Emily and Ashley S. The two adorable southern girls.hahaha. You likey?

Hope everybody else had a great weekend too!!

  2. We bought a frame. then went to Lowe's and just found like metal sheeting and they had a few different styles of designs. then we cut it to the size of the frame hot glued it and bought little hooks to hang my stuff from! It's sweet. I recommend a bigger frame. haha
