WE ARE HERE WE ARE HERE WE ARE HERE!! --horton hears a who

We have finally arrived in our new home in Provo. Well when I say home I mean teeny tiny apartment but we are so in love with it and so happy to be on our own again.

Jenni my mother in law flew into Dallas late Friday night to make the long drive to Provo with us. What a HUGE help. We left early saturday morning and were on the road by 7am! Gray is a trooper and did great. We made it to Denver saturday night...yes a 14hour drive. yuk.
Sunday we spent the day relaxing with Chris' aunt natalie and uncle james and their kids Lorie, Taylor, Ryan and Cole. What cute kids they were great with grayson and fun to get to know better. Lorie is a senior taylor is a sophomore Ryan is in 6th grade and Cole is in 2nd. But let me tell you Cole is a beast! He's about 90 pounds and so cute. He's a great football player...I would know...we watched a lot of their home videos. haha. We had a delicious breakfast on sunday and I learned something new...I LOVE sour cream on my breakfast burrito full of hashbrowns eggs cheese and bacon. SOOOO GOOOD! I know I thought it would be gross so I tried a little and I WAS IN LOVE! We went to church came home had dinner. Then we made lots and lots of chocolate dipped pretzels and chocolate popcorn. Later they took us to a house that was fully lit and synced (sp?) with music. After we got to spend a few hours with my aunts and uncles and all my cousins. my have they grown! We watched them put on the Nativity and Gray was asked to be baby Jesus. He did great. This was his 2nd year being baby jesus.
Monday we were up and on the road by 7:30 and made it into Provo by 4! WAHOOO! WE did it. What a long long weekend. We arrived and dropped off a drier for Ryan and Jessi then took our first look at our new home. It looks great. The rooms are small but the kitchen and living room are perfect for the 3 of us and even a few guests. We love it! Our family was supposed to be here by 6ish and 7 and we had unpacked the whole truck before they even got here. Provo is great. haha We had 3 other couples come offer to help us when they saw our big rig out front. haha. Our family finally made it and they helped us unpack lots of stuff and put together beds and tables and our couch so we could stay here our first night. Thank YOU everybody!!!
Tuesday bethany came over to see us which was fun to visit with her. Then that afternoon we went with Chris' dad to buy our TV which was good he was around because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get one due to our tiny car! WE LOVE IT! We had CAFE RIO!!! DELICIOUS! set up the TV and I got our Christmas Tree set up...LOVE LOVE LOVE! That's our update. sorry it's long. Thank you to all those who have been so helpful in the last week!
