One - Up

Once a month Chris' family does a Family Home Evening with all of the cousins and aunts and uncles that live close by here in Utah. We had a great time getting to see everybody for the first time in Months.


Chris has an uncle (the youngest) who is 5 years younger than him. His wife is Jayna. Jayna and I had the chance to sit down and have a conversation. It was very enjoyable seeing as we had the same feelings towards this topic. haha. Jayna I hope you're reading this and hopefully nobody is offended. Anyway we both have friends that we feel are always trying to One-UP us. How silly is that. We are all adults, all have families and are all in different stages of our lives. Garrett and Jayna are busy working and in school and have the cutest little girl that Gray LOVES named Avree. Then there's chris and I in a similar situation...work, school, child. Maybe it's just a girl thing naturally. To want to compete with a friend when they have something you want the next best thing. How silly and annoying. Can't we just be happy for people and what they have. Let's stop comparing and just live our lives and ENJOY them for how they are. Thanks Jay for letting me vent! :>

Anyway I enjoyed chatting with you Jayna...let's do it again soon!
